Hello, Bolsa Chica Land Trust Supporters!!
Do you enjoy walking the Mesa trail early in the morning with the dew covering the spider webs? Or right at sunset to watch the sun sink into the horizon and the Mesa glow with orange? Do you come to watch the terns and pelicans dive into the water after the schools of fish swimming in the bays? Do you feel the excitement of finding a Western Snowy Plover nest with a fluffy downy chick right beyond the protective fence, or spotting the baby Great Horned owls who are getting ready to fledge? Have you been lucky enough to watch an Osprey snatch a fish out of the water or catch a glimpse of the elusive coyote?
All this and more you can experience at Bolsa Chica throughout the year. You can see the Mesa change from dormant browns to lively greens during the seasons, observe the migratory species of birds as they stop to rest, and escape the stresses of everyday life as you take a stroll on the many paths that criss-cross through the Reserve.
