Last Sunday we had two families who are relatively new to the Jr. Stewards come out to help water the native plants.  Both families have young ladies and it’s wonderful to see them becoming close friends.  One of the great reasons for the Jr. Stewards program is for young people to make long-lasting friendships while volunteering and being stewards of the natural world.  We hope that these friendships bloom along with their passion for Bolsa Chica as they grow older.
